3 Ways To Exfoliate At Home

3 Ways To Exfoliate At Home

Glamies we all lead busy life’s but we need to schedule time for self-care. And I have the perfect total body experience for you. Have you ever done a full body exfoliation?  First, let's start with what is exfoliation?

Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin using a chemical, granular substance, or exfoliation tool. Your skin naturally sheds dead skin cells to make room for new cells every 30 days or so. Sometimes, dead cells don't shed completely.

Therefore you can use a dry body brush, natural body scrub, or an exfoliating glove. When you exfoliate it brightens the appearance of the skin, removes dead skin, increases blood flow, helps with lymphatic drainage, it allows moisturizers to penetrate the skin.

So many benefits to exfoliating however, beware there is a difference between facial scrubs and body scrubs. Facial skin is more sensitive than the rest of the body’s skin, so only use scrubs that are specially made for the face.

You can exfoliate 1-2x’s a week using whatever method you choose. I love to exfoliate at night because it relaxes me and helps me to unwind for the night. I will link below my fav body scrub and body oil that I use.
